ESB Health Services in conjunction with the EAP Officers provides a Flu immunisation programme to all active/VSS/retired staff and a small number of spouses every year. This service is free to active/VSS/retired staff. Spouses/civil partners are charged €25, which is deducted from the ESB staff/Retired staff members salary.

This year, ESB Health Services aims to encourage more people to avail of this programme and has teamed up with boots pharmacies countrywide to provide this services using a voucher based system. A retired staff member can request up to two vouchers, one for themselves and one for their spouse/partner. Spouses/civil partners are charged €25, which is deducted from the ESB retired staff members salary. If you request a voucher for yourself and you do not use it, €16 will automatically be deducted from your salary. Vouchers must be used by 31st January 2012.

If a retired staff member does not wish to attend Boots Pharmacy, they can attend their local GP and submit a receipt for a refund of €25. Spouses/civil partners are not eligible for this refund.
