ESB Health Services provides a Flu Vaccination programme to all VSS/retired staff every year. This service is free to VSS/retired staff.

ESB Health Services has teamed up with Boots Pharmacies countrywide to provide this service using a voucher based system.

VSS/Retired Staff members can request a free voucher by emailing: esbhealthservices@esb.ieesbhealthservices@esb.ie or calling a designated phone line (01) 702 6261 or ext 26261. Your spouse/civil partner can also avail of this service, however, a charge of €25.00 will be deducted from the retired staff member’s salary. The voucher/s will be sent to your home address.

Present this letter at participating Boots Pharmacy with photographic ID and you will receive the vaccine. To meet the requirements of the HSE you will need to bring your PPS number.

This service is available until the end of January 2013.

Where it is not possible for retired/VSS staff member to attend a Boots Pharmacy, you may be considered for a GP refund of €25.00. Spouses/Civil partners are not eligible for this refund. Refunds should be submitted to your local EAP Officer or ESB Health Services.
